Grassroots Networks

ServeNext builds and sustains a growing number of grassroots Networks that are locally vibrant and, together, nationally powerful. Our Networks unite local constituents who are passionate about service, volunteerism, and AmeriCorps and who want to be a voice for the field so that more people can serve and more unmet needs are addressed. The Networks then take collective and strategic action to build support for the national service movement among key decision makers and the general public as a key solution to help solve pressing social challenges and strengthen our democracy.

The number of people who already support the service movement around the country is absolutely huge: thousands of programs, hundreds of thousands of alumni, and millions people involved as volunteers, recipients of service, partners, teachers with programs in their schools, service-learning, Senior Corps programs, and more. Our Networks exist to bring these diverse stakeholders together in key locations in order to take action capable of building support for the service field among policymakers, the general public, business leaders, the media, and more.
